Shortlist's

After the briefing, we were asked to work out 3 shortlists each time.

Themes that are close to your heart:

- Illness

- Diversity

- Showing Emotion

- Supernatural

Design specialties you find interesting:

- Hand-drawn design

- Water painting techniques

- Pattern design

Non-profit organisations that want to get to know each other better:

- Vzw Saying Goodbye (processing a loss)

- Doof Vlaanderen

- Iktic (Gilles De La Tourette)

- Bethany (behavioural problem for young people/children)

- Espero (traumatic experiences)

When I looked at the 3 shortlists I saw that I could make links between them. In the end I opted for the non-profit organisation 'Doof Vlaanderen'. I was able to link themes such as: illness, diversity and the emotional aspect. A design technique that fascinates me but I'm not familiar with is hand-drawn design, more specifically hand-drawn illustrations.
