I questioned children in my target group which character they would like to get to know better using my illustration and which digital product do you use most often? 14 children said the girl on the left, 11 children on the right, 8 children the smallest girl and only 4 children chose the mum or dad. So my choice was quickly made! I chose to work out the story of the girl on the left.
I also asked a few people to hold my iPad and indicate where according to them the navigation would be. 4 out of 5 people said at the top right of the page, so that's why they chose to put it at the top right of the page.
