Colouring, starting over, colouring, starting over, ...

Wow... this was a challenge. I experimented a lot with finding the right colours. I found it very difficult. I ended up doing it this way:
1. Everything coloured with brushes (very ugly)
2. Everything coloured with colour-drop (ugly)
3. Everything coloured with colour-drop, then processed with brushes (good technique, but not the right colours).
4. Everything coloured with colour-drop, then processed with brushes (happy with the result!).
I've made a huge switch of colour style. Why did I do that? I thought it was no longer meant for my target group if I used 'lifelike' colours. Because my illustrations are already so 'old-fashioned' I had to play with the colours. With a good result! Because that is why I and others think that it is now intended for children (10-15 years). Now I'm going to focus on the latest style. I'm going to refine it a bit and apply it to the other illustrations.
